In the Navy

Brian was commissioned into the Navy October 10th 2008. We are excited to have the opportunity to serve our Country.
Brian's parents came all the way from Utah for his commissioning. They suprised us Thusday night. We were so excited that they were able to be here! Thanks Mom and Dad!
Brian, saying the oath.
And after months of paper work and being cleared by the Pentagon Brian is in the Navy!

Oh my goodness! That's so crazy. We are hoping for the same thing next year! No better way to pay for those expensive doctorate programs! Love you guys! By the way...this is actually Jenny, not Emma.

Congrats! It takes forever to do all that dang paperwork and actually get commissioned in. Get ready for some nice paychecks!
Maybe one day Brian and Jerrel will serve on the same base in Japan or something and we can be loner foreigners together, haha.
