Who would like a cookie?!

Today Kyrie and I made sugar cookies. Kyrie loves to "help" out in the kitchen. She also loves her new apron from Grammy Di. (Thanks Grammy Di!)
Yeah, Kyrie found out the dough was edible and had a little problem with putting in her mouth. She got that from me. I have a severe problem with eating dough. It's not just cookie dough, it even extends to bread dough. The only draw back with the bread dough is the yeast. It gives me quite a tummy ache. My favorite is actually blueberry muffin batter. I guess that's not so much dough, but I could eat a whole bowl of blueberry muffin batter without cooking one single muffin. Wait, I've actually done that.
A new favorite for Kyrie is the rolling pin. Long after we were done rolling out cookie dough, Kyrie had to take the rolling pin and push it around the house. Luckily I had already cleaned it off before it took the trip.
Kyrie was super excited to frost the cookies.
Once she figured out how to spinkle the sprinkles there was no going back. She was spinkling everywhere.
I don't think we have enough sprinkles on those cookies!
That's it for our great cookie experience!

Katie loves to help in the kitchen too! Dishes and everything. I don't know where she gets it from because I definitely don't like the dishes. You and Kyrie looked like you had a great time. Seeing those cookies make me excited for Easter! Love you guys

You and Kyrie are so cute! Your hair is so long, it's beautiful! I suddenly have a craving for cookies now...weird. Next time you come to Utah, you'll have to let me know so we can get together. We are just down in Provo.

How fun! It is so crazy the Kyrie is old enough to do that stuff with you. It seems like yesterday she was a baby and we were watching 24 and she was barfing everywhere and screaming at the top of her lungs! You guys are soooo cute together. P.S-- we will TOTALLY go to Wicked together. We should plan a girls trip and really go!

I love those cute pictures. ( I think those will make a really great scrapbook layout!!!) Anyway, I laughed out loud when I read about your eating an entire bowl of muffin batter. I confess I have greatly desired to do the same thing, but I usually feel guilty and end up cooking part of my batter, so I can't claim to have accomplished so wonderful a thing. We love you guys!

awe yes, that wet suit, it was very difficult to put on, infact it took me a good 15 minutes and then it was cutting off the circulation of my wrist, and my blood veins were popping out so I had to get in the water quick! but ya you, brian and kyrie should come down this summer and we'll go to the lake and have a party!! wakeboarding is so much fun, you'll love it! also I am glad Brian likes my hair cut

You are so brave I am not sure I have the patience to try and make sugar cookies with my little one. What a great little helper and a super patient MOM!

Sometimes the dough (or blueberry muffin batter) is just so much better than the finished product. A whole package of batter is pretty impressive though.

Love you guys!
